About Bunaken
Bunaken National Marine Park is the crown jewel of North Sulawesi. Just a short boat ride from Manado, its steep coral walls drop hundreds of meters into the deep blue, sheltering sea turtles, reef sharks, giant trevally, and thousands of reef fish species. With visibility often reaching 30 meters, Bunaken is a dream for snorkelers and divers alike — and its quiet island villages and sunsets make it just as magical above the water.
April to November, during the dry season. Seas are calm and underwater visibility is at its best (20–30 meters). July–September is peak season, so book early.
